Ticronic Tool Steel Foil – Type 321

Annealed stainless steel used in the heat treating of tool steel parts. The wrap eliminates the need for Ni-chrome box packing, or the use of sawdust or other carbonaceous materials. No special controls or atmosphere furnaces are required. Guaranteed to be taken up to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit.

Simple to use:

1. Place tool in Ticronic Tool Steel Wrap
2. Fold over and crimp edges forming an airtight package
3. Place package in oven and heat treat in usual way

Tool steel foil wrap preserves machined surfaces from decarburation (scaling) while heat treating, up to 2000 degrees fahrenheit.
