They have 45-percent longer blades than other wood chisels and are ideal for use in fine woodworking and carpentry. The blades are 100-percent through-hardened for better blade life and re-sharpening. They feature bi-material ergonomic handle for better feel and better grip. The handles are also longer for better safety and control. This three-piece chisel set comes with a storage case that allows for carry along or free-standing bench-top use. The Stanley Works, originally a bolt and door hardware manufacturing company located in New Britain, Connecticut; was founded in 1843 by Frederick T. Stanley.
